Our Story
Taro Vale is a 2 Acre Integrated farm nestled in a 12 Acre Teak Wood Plantation with few mango and other fruit trees. The Teak Trees are host to climbers, Black Pepper and Vanilla Bean. Spaced between the Teak Trees are cocoa and Areca nut trees.
Growing under the shade of the trees are Turmeric, both the native variety and the black turmeric endemic to North East India.
With more than 30 colonies of Honey Bee (Apis Cerana Indica), one can hear buzz and flight of bees, extracting nectar thereby aiding pollination.

Among all the vegetation, noisily raking are the free-range poultry. Turkey, Guinea Fowl & Country Chicken. Reared separately within a large enclosure are the sturdy Kadakanath Chicken, native breed reared by the tribes of Madhya Pradesh.
Besides the Teak, Cocoa and Areca nut, the farm is also home to Jack fruit, Java Plum (Jamun), Mud Apple (Sapota), Mango, Lime, Citron, Cinnamon, Coconut, Guava, Banana, Drum Stick, Neem, Pomegranate, Wood Apple, Agar and Grape Fruit Trees.
